Generous Donation
On December 12, 2021 using money from donations made in their son Scott’s memory, S.O.U.L. Mom Ellen Sternberg and her husband Bill hosted the symposium “What Every Family Needs to Know About Addiction” at the Temple Beth Ami, S.O.U.L had a table and Roxanne spoke at the symposium, which was relevant and very informative. The link to a video of the event is here. Instead of focusing on the tragedy of their son’s death, they are sharing a message that helps others cope with this affliction. In appreciation to S.O.U.L. for our participation. Ellen and Bill made a donation of $1,000 to S.O.U.L.! We want to thank Ellen and Bill for this generous donation! Over the upcoming months, we will discuss how we would like to use these funds to commemorate our children.
