Dear Friends and Supporters,
A few weeks ago, we gathered to commemorate our 10th year of remembrance and support. It was a truly special event where we officially launched our cookbook and heard from former Congressman David Trone who shared inspiring words in support of the prevention and education of substance use disorder.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and helped make our recent event a success.
A special thank you goes to Roxanne Wood and the committee for their hard work in making it happen. For those who were unable to join us, or if you would like to revisit the highlights, the full event is available to watch online.

August Events
We participated in two events this past August to represent our peer grief support group:
- August 29: "Montgomery County Goes Purple" in Rockville.
- August 30: An International Overdose Awareness Day (I.O.A.D.) event hosted by "Treehouse for Bryce" in Prince George's County.
We hosted an information table at both locations to raise awareness about our support services. Additionally, two of our S.O.U.L. moms, Elena and Wendy, participated in a panel discussion during the I.O.A.D. event.
